Big Lake Fire Department

To provide the best possible emergency services and fire protection to our citizens, prevent harm, while being fiscally responsible and to provide the best quality training and working environment.

Amenities: 9-hole Executive Golf Course, Small Grocery Store, Bar and Grill, Elementary School, Boat Launch, Boy Scout Camp, Off Road Vehicle Park, Community Church, and more.

The Big Lake Fire Department was established in 1949 and currently consists of about 38 volunteer members . We have 4 stations, including our newest one on West Big Lake Blvd. Our department responds to all types of calls including structure fires, brush fires, vehicle fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical calls, lift assists, power lines down and more.
